Walkling's Farm

The Walklings started market gardening in 1926. Half of this time was in full time production. The other half in part time production with full time off farm income required to support this wonderful addiction. Currently, we grow pumpkins and gourds that we sell at Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh.

SAVOUR Muskoka has stirred the blood. Walking is excited about the possibility of moving back into the product they used to grow including peas, beans and salad greens. This season, the Walklings are both preparing land and working with area Chefs to start an experimental garden to test new varieties in preparation for next season.
