Workshop Introduction:
Chef Maureen Wilson and her assistant will be sharing their extensive knowledge in soups, stew and stocks. the class will prepare and share a soup and a stew which will highlight the abundance of flavours and ingredients available in our own backyard. They will determine the cost-benefit of how one soup can go a long way. Ideas for school and work lunches will be discussed and several different recipes and nutritional benefits of these foods as well. All of Maureen's recipes are family-friendly and kids will love them!

Workshop Introduction:
Caterer Vanessa Edwards will fill her class with a variety of easy, delicious and affordable appetizer/party foods that will blow you away! She will teach the basics in using phyllo pastry, dips and beautiful veggie trays and an abundance of nourishing fingers foods, turning the class into one big party! Vanessa will share recipes, nutrition advice, costs and accessibility of the class's creations. We'll also be making one hot and one cold festive drink.
